Wow! @_callmeana_ look at the notes!
Fly me up on a silver wing, past the black where the sirens sing, warm me up in a nova’s glow, and drop me down to the dream below.

Yesterday evening, as much of us know, there has been a Twitter listening party with Mike Shinoda and all the fans all over the world that wanted to joing him in listening Living Things, the fifth studio album from Linkin Park. We all started at 1pm PST - which was 10pm in most of Europe.
Mike has been very gentle with us, favoriting some of us and RTing some others. I got, in my personal experience, even FOUR favorites from Mike and one RT from the band’s account. I kinda died yesterday. I will never EVER forget this.
Here are some screenshots I’ve taken with my iPhone. Oh, and of course I am ‘A Living Alien’. :3
#1 - This was first RT’d from the band’s account and then favorited by Mike. I got an attack when I discovered it. In the first moment, when the band retweeted me, I tought about Shinoda staying behind the computer and touching his beard while saying: ‘Let’s RT someone and kill some ovaries’. Well, you did it sir.

#2 - I was literally crying while listening Lost In The Echo, so I tweeted him his rap was wordless. He liked it. I DIED.

#3 - Tinfoil was making me tremble. Linkin Park music comes from heaven, dude. I can’t help it.

#4 - and last one. He asked us for some photos. My sister was right there listening to Living Things on her own - AND SHE’S JUST ELEVEN!! - so I couldn’t stop myself making her a photo. I told her Mike would have seen it - even if I was not so sure. Well, he did it. She kinda had an attack and stole the phone from my hands! I started my little sister to the world of fangirls lol.

But, most important, I listened with you guys an album that will make history. I felt home yesterday. I felt part of something so big that distance cannot separate. An army, that’s what we are. Winged soldiers, not only ‘mates’, or friends. Together in war as much as in peace. This is what I searched during my entire life, and I found it.
It was just us yesterday, a buch of people having fun and listening to a band that bonded our lives, a bunch of people breaking the barriers of distance. I love you guys. I’ll always be there for you, my army.
Thank you.
